Scanning: from trannies to tartans

Quality is a basic requirement of high-end scanning. Here at Wagtail we achieve this with two of the best high performance flatbed scanners there are: an Agfa XY15 and a Screen Cezanne Elite. Both scanners are capable of scanning a variety of media including 35mm transparencies, prints, line illustration, fine art, preprinted books and material. We can scan originals up to A3 and supply you with digital files at resolutions up to 4800ppi. The 8.000 element CCD array helps to achieve subtle shadow detail and smooth colour graduations. ColorExact tools provide a comprehensive solution for colour cast removal, curve adjustments and selective colour adjustments. Our aim is to give you the highest quality results as quickly as possible, the goal of all good scanning departments.

Retouching: As part of the scanning cost, retouching of dust and scratches will be carried out, but on top of that you'd be amazed at what we can do. Our dedicated team of highly skilled professionals (me and Mike) can provide a full photo re-touching, restoration and editing solution. Old images can be lovingly restored, colour casts can be corrected and that traffic cone (that you'd swear wasn't there when you took the snap) can be removed. We'll achieve all this quickly and competitively, but never compromise on quality.
