Wagtail was set-up by John Hepburn and Mike Hogg. We are based in Fort William, Lochaber in the Highlands of Scotland. Our services include graphic design, artwork, prepress, scanning, retouching, traditional signwriting, advertising, marketing and barcodes. View our portfolio here.

Graphic Design: We have a combined 50 years experience in design and print. We can supply logo design, corporate identities, leaflets, brochures, newsletters, magazines, books, interpretative signs, exhibition stands, posters, banners, t-shirts and much more. Whatever you choose, we’ll provide you with a quality product - and if you want we can find you the keenest print prices around.

Artwork: As well as graphic design we also provide a complete artwork service for organisations throughout the UK and beyond. If you are a publisher, printer or in-house marketing department we can supply press-ready artwork to your current design specifications or templates. You can rely on us to provide hassle-free artwork within your budget.

Prepress: We supply a reprographics service to printers throughout Scotland. We understand impositions, bleed, creep, overprint, knock-out, rasters, vectors, burst-binding and glue-spew. We can take any kind of files - text, images, artwork (even Publisher files) - and make them press-ready.

Scanning and Retouching: We can scan prints, slides, line art and printed copy - all on one of our high specification SRA3 flatbed scanners. So if it's a printed book you would like reproduced, your library of slides digitised or an old picture you'd like scanned and retouched, we can handle all your scanning needs.

Traditional Signwriting: We offer hand painted traditional signwriting using sable brushes and quality enamels. Ideal for pubs, restaurants, hotels, on exterior and interior signs, at tourist sights and on vehicles.

Advertising: If you need to get your point across and attract new customers we can help you find ways best suited to your business and product. We can design your adverts or revamp your brand.
